Guide To Alcazaba Lagoon
The Development
Alcazaba Lagoon is a modern private gated community situated in Caseres, southern Spain. Just 15 minutes from Estepona, 30 minutes from Marbella and just over an hour away from both Malaga and Gibralter airports.

The easiest way to locate the property is by using the What3Words app which uniquely identifies every 3m by 3m square on the planet by using three words. The What3Words for the the apartment is:

Alcazaba Lagoon is a private gated community with on site 24 hour private security. Upon your arrival drive up to the gates and they will open as you approach, allowing you to enter the development. In the highly unlikely event you need to contact security their direct phone number is +34 623 542 592. In the even more unlikely event that you need to contact the Spanish emergency services you can do this by dialling 112.

A short way past the security gates you will approach a roundabout, to get to your apartment take the first exit (turn right). Once you have turned right the first building on your left is block number 10. Each block has a sign outside the front with its number, continue on this round and count down the blocks until you get to number 7. You will be met outside by Laura who will hand over the keys and introduce you to the apartment.

Once you have your keys for your stay you will be able to enter the car park under the building. Your parking bay is number 1 which is the first on your left as the drive in. From here you will find an elevator or stairs to take you to the first floor where you will find apartment 713.
The Lagoon
Fully included with your apartment is unlimited access to the beautiful turquoise blue lagoon. For those using What Three Words to navigate, you can find access to the private "owners only" beach by the lagoon at refreshment.often.escapism.

Inside your apartment you will find four red wrist bands, each person is required to wear a wristband to enable you to access the lagoon area. Once you arrive at the beach the sun beds are available on a first come first served basis.

Once at the lagoon you will have unlimited access to two saunas, two hot tubs, a swimming pool, a roped off area of the lagoon to swim in and access to all available water sports. Due to the water sports swimming is only permitted in the roped off designated area of the lagoon.
Water sports include: paddle boarding, canoeing and peddle boats.

Should you require more than four wrist bands then these can be obtained from the on site restaurant reception. Further information can be found on the Lagoon website.
The Swimming Pools
There are three swimming pools for you to choose from on the development. Your apartment overlooks one of the pools and is set amongst stunning palm tree gardens.

The third swimming pool is located down at the lagoon.

The two swimming pools away from the lagoon are accessed via a pin protected gate, you can gain access by entering the code:

The Gym
There is a fully equipped gym underneath the on site restaurant which overlooks the lagoon. Access to the gym costs just 3 euros per visit. Further information can be obtained from the restaurant.
The Bins & Recycling
There are four different types of bin, or recycling, used on Alcazaba Lagoon. You can find the closest bins at the top and bottom of the road the apartment is on, although you will only find a cardboard bin at the bottom of the road (closest to the entrance of Alcazaba Lagoon).
